You know, I’ve almost eliminated the Naughty Words from my posts here these days. But there’s only one thing to say right now:

Man, it’s been a shitty day.

It started when I woke up, feeling like my throat was on fire and what must have been two bowling balls in my nostrils. Up and down Iowa temperatures at this time of year do that to me.

It got considerably shittier when I hosed a brand new 1.6 ghz P4 CPU, mind you. And the motherboard to go along with it.

Trying (and failing) to find a very strange bug at work left me with a shitty afternoon.

And now I have some kind of flu.

While Amy was holed up in Kansas avoiding twisters, Sam and I went to go see Spider-Man. Though I was never a *huge* fan of the comics, I know enough to tell that this is a faithful adaptation. I particularly liked the scenes of everyone’s favorite web-slinger swinging from building to building, it’s really quite immersive.

Man, that was a dry post.

My Mum surprised me by sending me the Eddie Gray autobiography, which was nice in itself. Then I opened it and found it signed to me, which was an even bigger surprise, thanks Mum!
