Queer as Maya

I’ve come to the conclusion that Alias|Wavefront is marketing Maya to gay men. You need only glance around their site to witness the shaved heads and the taut, muscular bodies.

It should come as no surprise then that Apple were overjoyed to have Maya on OS X. They are marketing the new iMac to gay couples after all.

I predict we will see Justin using Maya on an iMac before the season is through.

it is now

Sad to hear that the voice of England’s 1966 pride has died. I wonder how many times the “he thinks it’s all over.. ..it is now!” joke will be made?

estroriffic

The other half has launched her own site. You should visit it. She’s funny.

Also, I did a little moving over on the reading list —>

OMG

I’m with Kristine. It really is a sign of the apocalypse.

done

Well that was painless, except for the brief scare when mt.cgi wouldn’t run, complaining that it was “too late for -T”. A quick trip to the MT forums showed me that I could safely get rid of the T in the two problematic CGI files.

Now that MT 2.0 is out and I’ve upgraded, I’ll be making some more changes around here. Firstly, Amy will be getting her own blog. That means that this one will officially be mine, and I can talk about pornography and beer and things. Well maybe not, but just be content in the knowledge that there will be some changes coming over the next few weeks.

upgrade

Time to upgrade.

If I don’t post for a while, you’ll know it’s because something went horribly wrong, as opposed to me not posting for the last couple of days because I’ve been busy.

tunage

Winamp3 is definitely the winner of the media player battle.

I knocked up a little component for it to update a webpage script with the current file info, so the “current tunage” thing above works again.

If you want it, you can have it: tunage 1.0

low blow

Advertisting videogames on headstones is pretty low. I guess Acclaim will do anything to attract attention to the drivel they push.

back by dope demand

So yeah, we’re back and stuff. Misunderstanding with the host’s admin department, but straightened out now.
