Whilst I was reinstalling Windows yesterday, I got hit with Nimda.

The lesson to be learned here is even if your antivirus and firewall are off for only an hour, you’re wide open. Part of the problem is that there’s so many “active setup” things with Windows that you have to be connected to the net while reinstalling a system and applying all necessary security patches.

Oooh! Oooh! Almost forgot to post this, but I completed MGS2 for the first time last night.

In a surprising turn of events, we (meaning Sam and I) now want a Gamecube. Primarily because of this and this. The fact that it’s $100 cheaper than the Xbox helps, too.
