After posting a Gauntlet-related comment to /usr/bin/girl, I stumbled upon Gauntlet: The Video Game That’s a Lot Like Life.

Terrorists win.

This is such a dumb decision. If people are offended at a game featuring terrorists and counter-terrorists killing each other, do you think they’ll be placated by an “Offensive” and “Defensive” team killing each other? A few graphics and sound changes and everything’s okay?

I’m going to go play the real CS in a while. Maybe I’ll even be a T! :0 But does that change my opinion about the very real things happening around us? Of course not.

Because I’m not a moron.

Carl Cox was on hand for the Euro launch of the Xbox. MS is doing all these glitzy launches. And why can’t the BBC get the name right? You’d think journalists would check things like that.. Or maybe for some bizarre reason the console is called the X-Box over there?
