One reason why we haven’t posted for a while is we have lost our DSL. Because Darwin Networks has gone bankrupt. They’ve been bankrupt for a while, it seems. At what would be midnight, June 1st Eastern time, the connection to the outside world dropped, and calls to their tech support line give you a message that says basically “Sorry, no”.
Did I mention that Darwin provides phone service to this housing complex too? I’m half-expecting to lose our phone at any moment. Calling the phone department of the company doesn’t give you the same recorded message - but it does just give you an answering machine.
