Jo brings up an interesting issue - what is it about some people that make them ask why you choose to use Blogger? For me the question is usually “Why don’t you write your own posting system? It’s not hard!”.

Those people obviously weren’t reading when we didn’t use Blogger, and I did write our posting system. You can see the 3rd incarnation of it in our articles database. But the point is, I chose to use Blogger because it’s more convenient. “Blog This!” is great. Because it’s so convenient, we can post more.

Maybe that’s not such a good thing.

Looks like Sony’s really going all-out to fuck up the PS2 launch.
No demo disc in the box. I mean, what the fuck? There aren’t that many great-looking launch games, so you’d think they’d bung in some demos of upcoming stuff like GT3, which is supposed to ship in November. And US PS2 game boxes won’t even have the neat memory card holder like the Japanese boxes. Grrrrrr. But no, I’m not cancelling my pre-order. I want a new console within the next few months and Dreamcast doesn’t offer any games I really want. And Sega is pants. And I like Sony. Sony makes me tingle. I am going too far.

Btw, let it be known that I invented the term Caligallery. Though you do score points for the cunning use of case to emulate the trueSpace logo. Cunning.

You know, I kind of wish we would have done the day in the life thing. I remember reading about it, then just pushed it aside. I forgot about it until I saw that Ann has her 24 hours up. The thing that’s really interesting about all this is that most of these bloggers are usually textual beasts.. and to replace their words with photos shows people in a new light. I’m rambling, finish this post.

Oh my God.. the moment between the Rock and HHH on tonight’s Smackdown was so gay. Like, literally gay. And not in the usual homoerotic undertones that run through pro-wrestling (and any team sports, come to think of it).. oh no, this was full-on gay. Those smouldering looks.. the lingering touches.. I swear to God, I thought they were going to go at it right there. If only there were some way to show this to the rest of you who don’t watch wrestling.

This isn’t good news. The number of PS2s on October 26th has been halved. I wonder if I’ll still get mine before Christmas? Judging from the referrals we’re getting from search engines, quite a few people are beginning to panic about pre-orders. Oh well, I should calm down. It’s just a videogame system I suppose. And a DVD player. God damn it, I want it now.

Okay, I have to go to sleep now (because we’re going to the Tech tomorrow, ooooh!), but I did go to the trouble of adding a new article category, and putting the new EWTRTW up. I haven’t edited it, other than add formatting tags. I’m going to claim that this is because here at the smack! we don’t believe in diluting the work of others. (Honestly though, I don’t think it needs to be edited anyway..)

I just noticed Amy had already mentioned the new EWTRTW. I’m such a spaz.

Someone found us by searching for “Russian Whores”. I wonder if they were pleased with the results? Come for the Russian whores, stay for the articles. There’s a new EWTRTW (with swearing), but it isn’t up yet. I’m going to put in a new EWTRTW article type first.
