Well, what the hell should I blog? I haven’t blogged in, like, forever, and Simon has now turned thesmack! into a cesspool of rude words and frequent genitalia-related posts. I just don’t have anything to say!

The Nintendo Gamecube looks pretty impressive. Some of the screens on that site are very nice indeed. So why does it not excite me? One word: games. Nintendo systems always have one or two games that I’d like to play, but buying a system for one or games is a bit of overkill. The same can be said for my opinions on Xbox, to a certain extent - I think Xbox will have better games for the over 10-year-olds (Nintendo’s market always seems to be the kids), but for slightly-crazy, innovative Japanese games, I think there’s only one platform - Playstation. I’m glad I have my PS2 preorder.

Well, I’ve calmed down now. I’ve hardly had any pain at all today. But that might have something to do with the fact that I slept all day. I don’t need the gauze anymore, which is a great change - it was making me gag. All I need now is something to eat.. hmmm, soup or pudding cup?

I promise I’ll stop looking at pornography if you can just stop the bleeding so I can take this fucking gauze out of my mouth.

No Simon, you were not the only kid to have your Action Man kitted out in stuff your nan knitted for you because the real outfits were too expensive. My SAS Commander had a nice grey pullover and matching balaclava. Because they were all out of black wool, see.
